What is the SBCC LMS?

The SBCC Learning Management System or LMS provides online courses on topics relating to Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC).  It assists users in being trained through e-module certified courses, network and explore the world of SBCC.

How will SBCC be useful for me?

If you are from any of the following:

  • Government ministry and department
  • Non-government organisation
  • CSR wing of a corporate
  • UN and Development agencies
  • Teachers & students

Or if you are a freelance trainer and development practitioner, then you can gain access and use online courses, training materials/resources present in the hub as well as plan offline training using the trainers’ pool/resources available in the hub.

I work in a specific sector, will SBCC be useful for me?

SBCC can be used across various thematic areas like health, nutrition, child protection, education, WASH and many others and will be useful for you in whichever sector you work in.

How do I stay up to date on the happenings in the LMS?

You can register with us on the LMS and keep an eye on the courses page to know which courses have been launched. You can also contact us for further queries.

I have enrolled for a course and submitted an assignment. However, I’m unable to move forward. What do I do?

Assignments in the courses are moderated by our Lead Trainers and Master Trainers on the following Days:

1.      Mondays – 6PM to 8PM IST

2.      Thursdays – 6PM to 8PM IST

If you have submitted an assignment it will be moderated during the timings mentioned, we request you re-login after the timings mentioned and check your status to move forward. If you still face issues after the mentioned days, contact the administrator at sbcc@newconceptcdc.org

Are the e-courses completely online?

Yes they are completely online, but we also offer on-ground training and orientation on SBCC. Please write in to us at sbcc@newconceptcdc.org with the Subject line: Interested in on-ground training.

How do I get my certificate, is it hardcopy? The certificate is not in hard copy format. However, you can download and print it. The courses are UNICEF and NCCDC certified. After finishing the last session in the course you are enrolled in, fill the feedback form and then click on the certificate link in the last session area. You can then download and save/print your certificate.
